Dead Or Alive? Cindy Loo Who

The gist of this post is so simple and obvious that I would be surprised if someone else isn’t already doing it. However, after doing nothing at all an extensive online search, I couldn’t find anyone else who cares what you think.

The rules are simple, I post a picture and ask the question, Dead or Alive? then you answer with your comments.

This week, little Cindy Loo Who from Whoville.

This is what I think became of Cindy Loo Who after the events chronicled in DrSeuss‘ How The Grinch Stole Christmas:

In her teens, Cindy Loo Who began a steamy affair with the Grinch and ended up pregnant with a Grinchy-Poo of her own. Shunned by the prudish Whos of Whoville, Cindy was forced to move into the Grinch’s cave on top of the mountain, where she dedicated her life to nagging the Grinch to marry her. Eventually Cindy Loo Who became a raging alchoholic and one stormy night, stumbled out of the cave for a walk and was never seen again.

So what do you think? Dead or Alive?

Oh Holy Crap! Christmas Is Just One Week Away!

Does anyone else feel as unprepared for Christmas this year as I do? How did it arrive so fast? I still have Thanksgiving leftovers in the fridge. They probably aren’t edible but they’re in there. I haven’t even printed my Christmas cards yet let alone mailed them and when am I going to finish my shopping?

While I’m running around freaking out over all this, please take a moment and enjoy one of my favorite television moments from 2008.

Mean Spirited Monday: The Early Christmas Push

Every Monday morning I post a picture of a person, place or thing for you to comment on. Remember to have fun and be mean spirited with your comments.

This week, The Early Christmas Push. Let the meaness begin!

I’ll get things started: I love Christmas time and the holiday season. In our house, every year on the day after Thanksgiving, we kick off Operation Christmas Spirit, which involves lots of Christmas decorations, music and Christmas-themed TV and movies (I can’t wait for this year’s showing of Silent Night Deadly Night). I know the stores pushing their holiday wares early isn’t a new trend but I heard Christmas Carols being played in stores in early October this year. In fact, my drug store had already marked down the Halloween crap and started filling the isles with Christmas two weeks before Halloween. At this rate, everyone will be sick of Christmas before they even start opening the windows on their Christmas calendars.
