One night, I was hanging out with some friends and somehow (I’m sure there was plenty of drink involved) we got to talking about the actor Jonathan Winters. At one point in our lives this guy was everywhere but where was he now? Was he still working in show business? What was the last thing he had done? Was he dead or alive? That conversation led to a recurring blog post titled, Dead Or Alive, in which I ask if you remember people, occasions, events, etc from our past and do you know where they are today?
This week, Humpty Hump, aka Gregory E. Jacobs.

Boy, I bet he can really get a good whiff of humpty-toots with that nose! I heard he now goes by the name Lil Jon.
OMG! One of the other waitresses back in my restaurant days was dating him when we worked there! She referred to him by his nickname “Fluffy”. He used to pick her up in this crazy wrapped van with hip-hop artists photos all over it. He had a seriously crazy afro, hence the nickname.
Kitty – were you working at a Burger King at the time?
AFL – I don’t know about that.
Wow…I don’t even know who that is. Am I too old? (not at 45, I hope!) haha

joe – he was the lead singer for the Digital Underground. He has sort of been in the news lately because of the US Bobslead team and the team’s leader dancing to Humpty’s most famous song, The Humpty Dance.
