Welcome to Friday! As Always I’ll be starting the day with Dead Or Alive? You may have noticed some changes to Dead Or Alive? that I’d like to explain. Dead or Alive? isn’t always a question of whether the subject is living or deceased but more a “where are they now” sort of thing. So I decided to drop the poll and each week in the results area on the right side of the page, I’m including the best comment from the previous week’s post. So remember to comment!
Now for something completely different. Who doesn’t like goofing off a little on Friday afternoon? Starting today I’ll be posting the perfect afternoon goof-off post every Friday at 3:30 (Eastern Time). Just a little heads up, you will need sound and a love of low brow humor to enjoy these posts. Let’s just say that my new Friday afternoon post will prove that while I may be getting older, I’m not growing up.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming (scroll down for Dead Or Alive?)
The gist of this post is so simple and obvious that I would be surprised if someone else isn’t already doing it. However, after doing nothing at all an extensive online search, I couldn’t find anyone else who cares what you think.
The rules are simple, I post a picture and ask the question, Dead or Alive? then you answer with your comments.
This week, wishing he was a little bit taller, Skee-Lo.

So what do you think, Dead or Alive?
Gizmodo posted the following TV news segment from 1981 discussing the then future of receiving our news online. It’s a fascinating look at how much the technology we are using right now has improved since then. Personally, I have never in my life purchased a newspaper. What about you?
The video is a little over 2 minutes long and definitely worth the watch.

Apparently the Sci-Fi channel created a first generation Battlestar Galactica Cylon Toaster for a past Comic-Con. Those toasters became such hot items that they are currently selling on eBay for over $100. To celebrate the final season of the show, Sci-Fi has created a new Cylon toaster and it is available to the public for $65. That’s still a lot of money for a toaster in my opinion but this fracking thing does more than just burn your bread. It curses you out Galactica style and shows you who is in charge.
Check out the toast:

You can get the Battlestar Galactica Cylon Toaster here through the NBC Universal store.
