The Country’s Largest Turkey

I hate to even mention her name but I just couldn’t pass on posting this video of Sarah Palin giving an interview while a turkey is slaughtered in the background. She gobbles away in typical Palin-drone blabber while a blood-soaked man stuffs a turkey into a contraption and slits it’s throat.

I’m not trying to make an animal rights comment here because I’ll be eating turkey tomorrow and I’m sure it didn’t have a peaceful journey from the farm to my fridge. I’m only posting this video to make fun of Palin. You’d think after the media circus she just left that she would have at least learned the basic PR principle that live animal slaughter isn’t the best backdrop for an interview.

I’ll get things started. The Happening! Really, M.?! What was that? Where were the interesting plot twists, memorable characters, intriguing dialogue and surprise endings that have made you famous? This movie was 90 minutes of very little happening with an ending that makes Geiko commercials look climactic. Sorry M., but you lost me with this one.

The gist of this post is so simple and obvious that I would be surprised if someone else isn’t already doing it. However, after doing nothing at all an extensive online search, I couldn’t find anyone else who cares what you think.

Sure the show is still going but it just wrapped up it’s latest season and it sucked. Not just the last episode but the whole batch of mini season episodes were really unfunny and just plain stupid. So what do you think, is South Park Dead or Alive?

Yesterday’s Brush With Sexiness

My boss, The Toy Guy, was on Live With Regis & Kelly yesterday to show some cool and affordable toy and game gift ideas for Christmas. While backstage, I bumped into (literally) one of the other guests – Enrique Iglesias. I was shocked to see how tall he is in real life – he is several inches taller than me and I’m 6’2″.

Prior to the show beginning, we were on the set going over our segment with the show’s producer Michael Gellman, while Enrique was rehearsing with his band. It was like a surreal private concert in that I was hurriedly setting up Bakugan toys while Enrique was performing three feet away from me. I have to admit, his new song is pretty good.
