Apple just unveiled the new iPod – the iPod Touch, and I want one!
It basically does everything the iPhone does without the phone part. Also, it accesses the interwebs via a WiFi connection rather than cellular service like the iPhone or crackberry. There is an 8gb and 16 gb model with prices starting at 299, which considering all it does, doesn’t sound that bad.
And thus the era of the 4 GB iPod ends. I still love my old, obsolete Mini and will use it until they pry it from my cold… well, at least until I spring for an iPhone.
Beeps still has one of the original iPods. You can barely read the screen anymore.
damn i want one too! i just got my vid ipod last year after waiting a few years to finally take the plunge… i’ll prob get this one after it is totally irrelevant.

The only thing I find disappointing is the surprisngly small hard drive…but I still want one. HARDCORE.
